Snakes in Exile. Belgian folkband. Founded in 1992.
They play their gigs in living rooms, smoky pubs, overcrowded bars, posh concert halls and on festival stages. Within and outside the country borders.

There is a Celtic flavor in what they do. For sure. But there is more. Their playlist is a mixture of original songs with spirited interpretations of traditionals and covers in different genres.

Whenever the time is right, they top up their line up with a guest musician, often on fiddle.
But basically, Snakes in Exile is a four piece band. Accordion, guitar, bass, drums. And four voices.
